Wherever energy saving, CO2 reduction and cost saving is an issue for lighting, the Thyro-A 3A is used, which in fact is a full digital power controller for the use in all kinds of lighting applications e.g. street lighting, lighting for parking areas and tunnel lighting. Suitable for all kinds of lamps e.g. sodium vapour (NAV), mercury vapour (HQL), fluroscent (TL), halogen or standard incandescent lamps, compensated or no compensated lamps, cos phi 1 -01,) the Thyro-A 3A is able to switch the output voltage in three steps and allows for significant energy and cost savings by reducing the mains voltage. Thyro-A 3A can operate as stand-alone unit as well as within bus systems via various available bus interfaces (Profibus-DP, CANOpen, DeviceNet and ModBus RTU).
